“A Thousand Histories” by Suzann Victor
7 August - 7 September
As Singapore commemorates 60 years of independence, Gajah Gallery is honoured to present A Thousand Histories, a major solo exhibition by Sydney-based Singaporean artist Suzann Victor.
A pivotal figure in our cultural landscape, Victor has been instrumental in shaping the discourse on performance, feminism, and contemporary sculpture in Southeast Asia.
Supported by the National Arts Council and curated by Anca Rujoiu, this exhibition marks a deeply reflective chapter in the nationโs cultural consciousness, probing the fractured optics of colonial memory and restaging history as a fluid, elusive image in motion.
