Chinese New Year restaurants for a reunion dinner plus CNY goodies galore
Lush Platters
If hosting at home (or the office) is on your Chinese New Year to-do list, Lush Platters makes it a lot simpler. Their CNY 2026 collection is designed for people who want food that looks generous and festive, without spending days planning and prepping.
The main draw is their eight-course buffet format, which you build yourself. You choose one starter or salad, two sides, two staples, two mains and a dessert. There are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options across the menu, so it’s easy to cater for different diets without overthinking it. You can go for a full buffet setup for 20 to 100 people from $49 per person, plus setup, which includes delivery, styling and teardown. Or you can choose the eight-course mini buffet for 10 to 40 people from $52 per person, plus delivery. It arrives ready to serve in self-heating packaging, which makes it especially handy for smaller gatherings or office lunches.
Highlights include Canton-style steamed seabass with lime garlic dressing, char siu glazed chicken with fresh onion salsa, and tamari beef with nam jim sauce. There are also plant-based options, like Sichuan-style spiced mapo tofu. Desserts stay light and celebratory, with choices such as tropical mango mousse with pomegranate and mini red bean moon-puffs.
For a proper CNY moment, there’s an optional Lo Hei Prosperity Toss set at $98, serving eight to ten people. It comes with chopsticks, plates and a tablecloth, so you don’t have to piece everything together yourself.
New for this year is the Golden Graze Chinese New Year Platter. This grazing board includes persimmon, cheddar, pineapple wensleydale, sambal gouda, grapes, carrots, macadamias, and their signature white bean and mala dip.
For anyone who prefers a quicker ordering option, Lush Platters also offers ready-made bundles, including the Golden Wok Bundle, the Dynasty Set Bundle and the Imperial Feast Bundle, all priced in the mid-$200s plus delivery.
These Chinese New Year goodies are available for a limited season, with delivery slots running from 23 January to 18 March, and peak dates filling quickly.

Food Capital at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore for Chinese New Year hampers and buffets
Celebrating at home but not keen on a long prep day? This Chinese New Year restaurant can take the pressure off, with a takeaway Prosperity Yu Sheng in Singapore. The set comes in two variations and includes premium Pen Cai and a Sakura XO sauce specially curated by executive chef David Toh. There are also Chinese New Year hampers – the kind you give to relatives, colleagues or that one friend who insists “no need” but who secretly loves a good hamper! Prices depend on how extravagant you want to go, with ingredients ranging from abalone and fish maw to bird’s nest and champagne.

Food Capital is also running Chinese New Year buffets from 9 February to 3 March, with a mix of traditional dishes, Peranakan highlights and international options. Reunion dinners take place from 16 to 18 February with two seatings each night. There’s an early-bird perk for anyone making full payment by 10 January.
