Pushing the boundaries of design, CYC The Custom Shop is offering something a little bit different from the traditional tuxedo shirt – just in time for the end-of-year festivities!
When you envision a tuxedo, you immediately think of a suave black suit, a white shirt with pleats, and a classic or wing-tip collar finished with a bow tie. Nice and traditional, right?
Master tailor CYC The Custom Shop wanted to change things up, so it challenged its designers to come up with two different tuxedo shirts for the festive season – and here’s the big reveal!
The first design teams the Swiss Plisse with a navy blue print and a wing-tip collar. When worn under a tuxedo jacket, the shirt is ideal for any formal occasion. The printed collar and front placket lends a chic vibe. Remove the jacket, and the look works for an important date, or even for hitting the bars.
The second design will definitely appeal to those with an eclectic sense of style. A fun, ruffled strip next to the button line takes inspiration from vintage seventies style, and will be guaranteed to draw attention (for all the right reasons).
