Walk Down Memory Lane
We love a good comeback – especially if it’s the fun fashion circa 2000s with its shiny finishes, quirky shapes and vibrant colours. And now Furla is bringing the era back with its 2024 Cruise Collection. It presents a host of reimagined mini crossbody bags and cute baguette bags, given the Y2K treatment with new design details, colour and material combinations – for a dash of nostalgia in your wardrobe.
Adventure Awaits
Founded in the French Alps, mountain sports lifestyle brand Salomon is bringing its innovative premium footwear, apparel and winter sports equipment to Singapore’s Raffles City for its first ever brand store in Southeast Asia. You’ll find a full range of outdoor, trail and running products including the coveted Sportstyle collection and S/LAB performance running items.
Bon Voyage
Brighten up your next getaway with Tumi’s spring 2024 collection, where selected pieces of luggage and travel accessories have been redressed in colours evoking Singapore’s iconic landmarks and the dynamism of its busy streets. While you’re at it, level up your travel wardrobe too with Asra, a new collection of day-to-evening handbags perfect for those on the go.
Shirts for the Gents and Ladies!
Gents, is it time for a new shirt or two? This longstanding Singapore tailor can sort you out from casual to business wear. You can get men’s dress shirts tailor-made at Meiko Tailor in some of the finest shirting fabric from European mills in Italy, London and Switzerland, from brands like Alumo, Albini/Thomas Mason, Loro Piana, Solbiati and S.I.C. Tess collection. Amongst our favourites are the linen cotton from Loro Piana and Solbiati which are perfect for Singapore’s tropical weather. Ladies, if you’re looking for floral and vibrant prints for your blouses, shirts or dresses, you’ll be spoilt for choice with their Liberty London Tana Lawn Cotton collection, which is superbly breathable, comfy and easy to iron.
Meiko Tailor is among the few menswear tailors in Singapore that has exclusivity to the S.I.C. Tess collection, a historic brand of Italian excellence in luxury shirts since 1924. S.I.C. Tess offers a unique collection of textures including cashmere-silk blend, linen-voile blend and ultra-fine 240/2 ply and 300/2 ply poplin. These swatch books (pictured) are for clients who want the finest quality of classic shirting. If you’d like to start with something more basic for dayto-day work wear, consider the house collection of 100 percent Egyptian cotton, from $199.
