A wellness retreat to trust your inner voice

21st March 2022 by Zawani Abdul Ghani 2 Min Read

We’re entering our third year of the pandemic and, apart from fatigue, it’s not uncommon for many of us to feel like we’re in a wellbeing rut. “You 2.0: Healing Transformative Retreat” is an upcoming event that aims to steer your focus to wellness; your ideas, values and energies will be placed centre-stage, to help allow for a shift in how you live. We find out more from the organisers in the lead-up to the 25 June mental health retreat.

wellness retreat for your wellbeing and mental health

What is You 2.0: Healing Transformative Retreat?

This one-day wellness retreat will aid you in reconnecting with yourself – the real you. Ever been torn between your shoulds and wants? This retreat will help you speak your truth. At the end of the day, you’ll realise, it’s okay to want what you want.

How will this happen?

This immersive mental health retreat will guide you on how to calm the noise in your head and align your mind-body connection to a state of clear, singular focus. This ‘awakened awareness’ will grant you complete clarity and peace of mind. The session combines modern neuroscientific methods with mindfulness, sonic healing and visual imagery in an experiential setting to show you how to lower anxiety and ease depression.

You’ll learn how to take steps in designing your life and embrace the unknown, in the pursuit of discovering self. You’ll also learn about your inner voice and how to trust and own it – ultimately leading you to your truth.

What are the core benefits of this retreat?

At the end of the wellness retreat, you’ll develop more vital awareness and integration in order to successfully find inner peace. You’ll learn ways to manage the high-stress, fast-paced hustle and bustle of modern life, while reconnecting with yourself.

You’ll also uncover auto-responses formed in your past. Ultimately, the retreat is a great opportunity for you to seek peace and quiet for the mind, rejuvenation for the body and relax your mind – a holistic address of your wellbeing, all in a convenient location.

Who should attend this retreat?

If you’re overwhelmed by the chatter in your head – and want to silence your inner critic – this transformative retreat is the answer. Learn how to ease anxiety and focus on your wellbeing in a fun, casual setting, while also taking charge of your mental health and recharging, rejuvenating and re-energising yourself to feel freer, lighter and happier.
