It’s the time of the year when we celebrate the favourite women in our lives –– mothers. Whether mum fancies chit-chatting over afternoon tea or pigging out on a bubbly buffet, we’ve sussed out our favourite dining spots for an unforgettable Mothers’ Day celebration this year.
Make this year extra special with an early (or belated) pizza and prosecco celebration at Jamie’s Italian VivoCity! Indulge in a two-hour party of hand-stretching your own sourdough pizza, choosing your toppings, and digging into your creation after it’s fresh out of the oven, while sipping on prosecco. Available from Monday to Thursday only at the Vivocity outlet, for group bookings of six to 20 people, this party is priced at $48 (with two glasses of prosecco) per person, or you can top up $20 for free flow! If mum’s still hungry, the restaurant serves delicious pastas too; we recommend Gennaro’s tagliatelle bolognese ($26.50) – pork and beef slow cooked with red wine, topped with pangrattato and parmesan. Other options include wild mushroom and winter greens risotto ($26.50) and ravioli con carne ($26.50), a combination of beef ragù-stuffed pasta with sage, brown butter, crispy pancetta, lemon and parmesan.
