Fun learning for little ones at Dempsey

23rd April 2019 by Expat Living 2 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/things-to-do-with-kids-dempsey-schools-enrichment-centres/

When it comes to family-friendly destinations, Dempsey Hill is hard to beat. There are play centres, kid-friendly restaurants and more, but it’s not just fun, fun, fun. We check out things to do with kids and some of the great education and enrichment centres in the Loewen by Dempsey cluster.

Loewen By Dempsey Hill

Premium Primary

Established in 2015, Invictus International School’s raison d’être is to deliver a premium education at an affordable price to the expatriate community. Set up by two tech entrepreneurs, it may have started life as a two-classroom school in an office building in Bukit Merah, but it has since grown into a full primary school campus, located in Loewen by Dempsey Hill.

An independent co-ed school, it offers the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) with a maximum teacher-to-student ratio of 1:25. Comprehensive, thematic and creative, the IPC is designed to develop an open and international mind. A recent expansion means Invictus now accepts students from Grade 1 to Grade 6. invictus.school

Go Bilingual

The first and only bilingual French-English Montessori preschool in Singapore, Les Oliviers welcomes children from 15 months to six years of age. It’s a pure Montessori environment with two main classrooms and a large garden for observation and play. Kids are divided into the Toddler community (15 months to three years) and the Casa dei Bambini (three to six years) with class sizes kept small – there are just 12 children in the Toddler section and 24 in the Casa – so all the kids get the attention they deserve. If you’re a French-speaking family or just keen to expose your children to a European language, the outdoorsy setting and child-centric Montessori methodology at Les Oliviers’ makes it a great preschool option. oliviers-french-montessori.com
