The Expat Living 2014 Travel Guide needs you!
When expats are asked what they enjoy about living in Singapore, ‘travel’ would be up there on most lists. With the whole of Southeast Asia on our doorstep, we don’t tend to let the moss grow under our feet! And what better way to get the inside scoop than to hear it from the horse’s mouth? So if you’ve got a travel recommendation or tale to share, Expat Living’s 2014 Travel Guide team would love to hear from you.
The places: This year’s Travel Guide (to be published in April 2014) will cover Australia, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
What to submit:
* Travel recommendations. We’re looking for as many of these as you might have, covering destinations, activities, restaurants, hotels, airlines, museums – anything you think might help readers get the most out of their own travels.
* Travel stories (maximum 300 words per entry). We want to include a broad range of stories to suit all types of travel preference: think adventure, beach, city, nature, culture, family, romance. If possible, include some accompanying photographs (file size at least 1MB).
* We’re also after travel tips on what you won’t leave home without (for you or the kids), your favouritetravel blogs, books and websites, and weird and wonderful foods or drinks that you may have tried while away.
Where to submit: Send your submission to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Travel Guide2014’ in the subject line.
When to submit: This year’s deadline for submissions is MONDAY 3 FEBRUARY.
All published contributors will get a full credit in the 2014 Travel Guide, a copy of the Guide, and a subscription gift from Expat Living.
We look forward to hearing from you!
