Expect a night of laughter as two- time British Comedy Award-winner Neil Fitzmaurice joins the Best of British line-up. You might recognise him from roles in some of Britain’s most successful comedy shows, including The Office, Peep Show and Phoenix Nights (which he co-wrote). It won’t only be Neil on stage; he’ll be joined by Scottish funny guys Chris Henry and Scott Mitchell.

Celebrity chefs, TV presenters and cookbook authors the Tanner Brothers are the brains behind award-winning eateries Tanners Restaurant and The Barbican Kitchen in Plymouth, The Catch in Looe (winner of “Best Newcomer” in the National Fish and Chip Awards, 2016) and The Kentish Hare in Kent, listed in the Michelin Pub Guide and named Top 50 Gastropub Awards “Newcomer of the Year” in 2016.


Experience Chris and James’s sensational food at the Commonwealth Wine & Gourmet Dinner on Friday, 9 June and the Ladies Luncheon: Cooking Demonstration on Tuesday, 13 June.

Who: Emma Dears and Lucy Williamson, performers


Returning for a second year is acclaimed West End star Emma Dears, who’ll be joined by award-winning actress, Lucy Williamson. The pair most recently performed together in Judy and Liza, a musical based on the lives of mother-and-daughter duo, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli. Lucy has played Carmen Diaz in Fame! and Fantine in Les Misérables and performed solo for HM The Queen on her tour aboard the Queen Mary 2. Emma is well known for roles in London’s West End, and has toured her own solo cabaret show around the world, as well as anniversary performances of Les Misérables and Miss Saigon.


The Judy & Liza Show is on Thursday, 15 June, and they’ll also perform at The Grand Finale Ball: West End Premiere at The London Palladium on Saturday, 17 June.

Part of the proceeds raised from auctions and raffle ticket sales will be donated to The British Club’s two adopted charities, The Gurkha Welfare Trust and Riding for the Disabled Association Singapore. The British Club is at 73 Bukit Tinggi Road.
