Support our Mo Bros

In case you’re not already in the know, Movember started in 2003 and has so far raised over S$360 million for cancer charities across the globe. Every year on 1 November, thousands of men across the globe register at Movember with a clean-shaven face and renounce their razor. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, grow, groom, trim and wax their facial hair in a bid to achieve the finest in moustachery and raise money for male cancer charities.

This is the first year that Movember will be officially supported in Singapore and Hong Kong and we’re massive fans. Free “shave-ins” are being offered across the city and businesses can even dial-a-barber (+65 6222 6136). Registration opens on 20 September at the Movember website.

Throughout Movember we’ll be following the facial hair dexterity of four readers by posting weekly updates to our FB page and asking you to vote for the most creative “tacheing and bearding”. To help you back a winner here’s a guide to their form:

A cross between Teen Wolf and old school mutton chops.
