It may seem like you’ve only just settled back into the school run after the the Easter break, but the long summer holiday will be here before you so much as have time to forget Junior’s PE kit yet again. What have you got planned? Nothing, you say? Then you’ll be thrilled to know that the EL team are already looking ahead to the latest, greatest holiday camps in Singapore, and ISS Summer School Discovery is certain to nab a top spot on that list. Tick, tick to that task
From 4 to 29 July 2016 at ISS International School’s Paterson campus near Orchard, children between the ages of 4 to 18 can try their hand at a whole range of exciting language and multi-activity programmes, from building the next generation of cyborgs to creating a masterpiece in papier-mâché, time traveling with Dr. Who and directing their very own blockbuster movie. So, what will be your child’s summer school discovery?
Each day a new learning journey
Held over four weeks, you can choose morning or afternoon sessions from numerous week-long programmes – or, even better, register for the whole lot and give yourself a pat on the back that your child will amass plenty of knowledge to spout to their class once the new school years starts.
Each day has been designed as a learning journey, kicking off with language immersion programmes from 9am-12pm, including English as a Second Language (ESL), Creative Writing and Mandarin. Meanwhile, Young Explorers (aged 4-6 years old), Brave Pathfinders (aged 7-10 years old), Bold Adventurers (aged 11-13 years old) and Courageous Lions (aged 14-18 years old) will spend afternoons from 1pm-4pm in activity-based sessions getting hands-on with programmes including Unlimited Discovery, Creative Arts, Science and Technology, and Self Discovery, and Adventure Sports.
Sign your child up now to secure their place for Week 1 (4-8 July), Week 2 (11-15 July), Week 3 (18-22 July) or Week 4 (25-29 July). The course fees range from $385-$500 before GST per week (lunch and bus transportation can be arranged at an additional cost).
FYI: Week 1 and Week 3 are all about multi-activity exposure such as Unlimited Discovery, while Week 2 and Week 4 will delve deeper into specific areas that your child is interested in, including Creative Arts, Science and Technology, and Self Discovery. Adventure Sports will run weekly throughout ISS Summer School Discovery. See why we think it’s a good idea to register for the whole month?
