A camp that’s 1/2 sports fun and 1/2 learning

15th April 2019 by Monica Pitrelli 2 Min Read

Soccer, rock climbing and… a little neuroscience? Yes, Ivy Camps USA offer everything you’d expect from summer camp in Singapore, and much more. Presented in partnership with GEMS World Academy (Singapore), this holiday camp is summertime fun and half hands-on educational activities – a win-win for both parents and kids.

To design this camp, Ivy Camps USA  assembled a team of expert advisors for advice on excelling in today’s world. This includes a Hollywood producer, global business owner, neuroscience engineer and professional athlete. Then, a two-week programme was created based on the advice. The result is an American-style camp with activities that improve critical thinking, team building and self-confidence skills.

Plus, the camp is bringing its own international instructors from Ivy League and other top-ranking American universities to Singapore. The team will lead activities like:

  • STEAM Discovery – a confidence-boosting experience where campers explore STEAM and multimedia skills
  • Build Your Own Business – a chance for kids to turn great ideas into a commercial reality
  • Performing Arts – a programme designed for budding actors, singers, dancers, comedians and magicians that culminates in a live show in front of parents and relatives
  • Leadership & Public Speaking – an opportunity to strengthen communication skills, build relationships and develop self-esteem

If you believe holiday time should be a good mix of fun and learning, then this camp is for your kids.
