So, where can you find the coolest range of rattan furniture in Singapore?

13th July 2017 by Jessamy Smit 2 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/so-where-can-you-find-the-coolest-range-of-rattan-furniture-in-singapore/

Furniture connoisseurs and style mavens are known for keeping their sources secret, but here’s a lead: head to Dreamweave’s Millenia Walk showroom to nose a unique selection of hand-crafted furniture and lifestyle and fashion accessories. Of course, you could also shop online over at Dreamweave’s website, but we’re not one to miss eyeing up Campomaggi’s SS16 range of handbags and Sika-Design’s lush selection of rattan furniture in person. Plus, rumour has it that Franco Albini’s classic Belladonna sofa will be making an appearance in store during February as part of Sika-Design’s ICONS range – beat you there!

Flick through the gallery to drool over the latest arrivals to Dreamweave’s showroom, and read on to find out more about the inspirational brands that have tongues wagging in design circles across Singapore (all exclusively stocked by Dreamweave, need you ask).

Another squizz at the elegant Belladonna sofa made under exclusive licence by Sika-Design

Sika-design

There’s a reason why Sika Design has been producing top-quality rattan furniture since 1942 – it’s extremely hard-wearing, sustainable, can handle humidity, and requires hardly any maintenance. Plus, it can be bent into heaps of amazing designs, the sleekest of which you’ll find in Dreamweave’s showroom. Snoop famous designer pieces (from Danish design icons such as Arne Jacobsen, Jørgen & Nanna Ditzel, Viggo Boesen and Wengler) and café sets to tough, all-weather outdoor furniture in gorgeous colours made using one of Sika’s Designs magic materials such as poly-rattan, alu-rattan or Sika-Fibre. And, yes, everything you’ve heard about ‘new’ models of Franco Albini’s Belladonna sofas (first designed in 1951) landing in Dreamweave’s showroom in February is true! Made under exclusive licence by Sika-Design in agreement with the descendants of the renowned Italian designer, the elegant sofa is going right to the top of every interiors list in town!

Campomaggi

Fashion designer Marco Campomaggi has done it again with his Spring Summer ’16 line of handmade handbags, each with that dreamy vintage look created through their signature ‘piece-dying technique’. The colour palette of the latest collection includes cognac, dark brown, dark blue, black and military green (natural nuances of the earth, if you will), with studs, rivets, canvas, linen and string adding the designer’s trademark touch. Snap up your own Campomaggi and covet the timeless arm candy for years to come since the full-grain 100% Italian leather only becomes softer and better-looking over time.
