Reckon you could be Asia’s top photographer?

NatGeo and Canon Explore to Inspire Photo Con

If you think the photos you take can rival (or at least, sit side by side with) those in National Geographic, why not put them to the test?

Pick your best pictures and join National Geographic Channel and Canon’s Explore To Inspire Photo Contest. Held to celebrate National Geographic’s 125th anniversary, the two-month-long contest is an Asia-wide search for Asia’ top photographer.

“The theme of exploration is synonymous with the National Geographic Channel and viewers are continuously inspired by our award-winning documentaries of some of the most outstanding landscapes in the world,’ said Mr Simeon Dawes, who has some sort of posh job that relates to the comp.

Who can join?
All aspiring photographers, aged 18 and above, residing in Singapore, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam.

How to join?
Submit an original photograph(s), with each entry being accompanied by an explanation (not exceeding 300 characters) of why the image inspires you to explore. Submit your entry via the Explore To Inspire Photo Contest website. Contest runs from now to 30 November 2013.
