Searching for an extraordinary staycation hotel in Singapore? You don’t need to be an expert in the Art Nouveau movement to appreciate this fine art public exhibition at one of Singapore’s newest luxury hotels. Until 15 September, Pullman Singapore Hill Street is hosting a celebration of world-acclaimed Czech artist Alphonse Mucha’s fine art in collaboration with the Alphonse Mucha Museum. Plus, there’s a staycation, afternoon tea and art experiences to match!
A celebration of Art Nouveau at Pullman Singapore Hill Street
Step into the world of Art Nouveau, with 40 of Mucha’s art pieces displayed for the first time here in Singapore at Madison’s on Level 1 and the reception area on Level 3. Known for their ornate floral patterns and ethereal figures, Mucha’s iconic works have captivated art lovers for over a century.
‘The Art of Alphonse Mucha’ exhibition is open to the public, but there are many other fabulous ways to experience the magic of Mucha’s artistry as a guest of Pullman Singapore Hill Street.
Creative hotel experiences for art lovers
Pinkies up! Running until 14 September, stylish American diner Madison’s is offering a holistic ‘Artistry in Time’ Afternoon Tea at $68 per person (Monday to Saturday, 2pm to 5pm, minimum of 2 persons). Surrounded by Mucha’s renowned artworks, guests can nibble on delicate pastries and savoury delights, washed down with two hours of free-flow champagne and wine for an additional $78 per person.
Elevate your tea experience and unleash your inner Alphonse Mucha with a marquage workshop by Wendy, principal designer at Deelydelly Marquage Studio. Held at 2.30pm in the Porter Lounge every Wednesday to Saturday during July, you’ll get creative on Pullman-branded luggage tags to take with you on your next adventure. The afternoon tea experience at Pullman Singapore Hill Street, including a glass of prosecco and two-hour marquage workshop, is $168.
Prefer to just paint? Join the art workshop for $130, which includes a non-alcoholic drink and Madison’s signature cheesecake.
For an extra dose of culture in the heart of the city, you can book ‘A Timeless Journey Through Arts’ experiential staycation at Pullman Singapore Hill Street (packages start from $342 per room per night). Check into a Mucha-inspired thematic deluxe room or suite and receive a set of exclusive themed amenities including a printed tote bag, a handmade dark chocolate bar, Mucha’s favourite French drip coffee, a ceramic coaster, and 180ml artisanal bottles of crafted cocktails and mocktails.
