Looking for pet supplies for your furry pal?

2nd October 2018 by Lindsay Yap 3 Min Read

https://expatliving.sg/pet-shops-in-singapore-pet-supplies-food-accessories-singpet/

With so many pet shops in Singapore, you may be wondering which one is useful one-stop spot for getting all you need. Singpet has a bricks-and-mortar store in Bishan and also an online store for those days when you’re too busy to shop in person. You’ll find everything from pet food and supplements to accessories such as grooming tools, and beds and toys for dogs, cats and other smaller animals. Here’s an inside look at the offerings.

#1 A great membership programme

We’re always up for a good deal, so we were glad to hear that the store has an annual paid membership that allows access to wholesale prices up to 50% off on items in the entire store. This includes pet food, medication, wellness products and accessories. What’s more, if you move overseas, you can still enjoy your exclusive membership discount and have your items delivered to your new home (with the exception of pet food due to its weight).

Enjoy exclusive member prices for all products in store!

Standard membership ($88) is limited to four pets per household and two delivery addresses. If you’ve got more than four fur-kids, opt for the premium membership ($198); it’s also limited to two delivery addresses but entitles you to free delivery with no minimum spend required.

#2 Many brands on offer

The store carries a wide selection of products from international brands that can’t be found in other pet shops in Singapore. For example, pamper your furry friend with lux Italian-designed pet mobility products from PetEgo. The brand offers products such as carriers, car and bike accessories. Or, invest in stylish and functional accessories like a reversible rain jacket and ice vest from Pet Apparel, great for the tropical weather here. The store also carries Gooby pet harnesses, and ThunderShirts that work perfectly for pups who get anxious in storms or for other reasons. If you’ve got a cat at home, the Kitty Kasa is a stackable and customisable cat retreat and lodging.

Plushies, harnesses and so much more!

Elsewhere in the store you can also pick up top-quality wellness products from well-known brands like Nexgard, Bravecto, Revolution, Seresto, Malaseb, Sasha Blend and more. And you’re fully covered for food, too, with premium brands such as Honest Kitchen, Wellness, Taste of the Wild, Zeal, Stella & Chewy and Royal Canine all available.

Singpet also consistently brings in new products from various manufacturers around the world to keep things fresh for customers.

#3 Cute gift ideas

Shopping for a gift? There’s loads on offer!

Looking for a fun gift for a fellow pet lover? There’s a range of great home décor and gift ideas in store, from tapestry mats, pillows, mugs and coasters, to greeting cards and more. If you’ve got a little one’s name on your shopping list, the shop also stocks cute animal plushies from popular American brand Melissa & Doug.

#4 Shop with your pets

Bring your furry bud along to the store!

Don’t want to leave your pooch or puss at home when you shop? Take them along to the store at Midview City, whose 1,500-square-foot showroom has loads of space for you and your pets to move about comfortably. You can try out products firsthand and consult the team about them before making your purchase.

#5 Shop online

Have your order sent straight to your doorstep, with a free delivery service available for orders above $80 and below 2kg. The store can also arrange for shipping beyond Singapore.

The rain and cold winds getting you down? A warm beverage and maybe a good book to snuggle up to might just chase the blues away!

If hot chocolate is too mainstream for you, could we offer up this red velvet alternative? @littlefarms have a wide selection of oat milks, almond milks and soy milk options.

Since it's #Veganuary, we recommend using dairy free milks to recreate this recipe....

2 cups non-dairy milk of choice
4 medjool dates (pitted)
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon beet powder

Add the milk and dates into a saucepan.
Heat, over medium, until it reaches a simmer. Add the warm milk with the dates and the remaining ingredients into a high speed blender.
Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Serve and enjoy!

As we welcome the start of a new year, it’s time to look back at the year that was.

Obviously, a standard review of 2020 would be dominated by one global issue, however, we’ve decided to avoid any mention of the C-word and instead, we’re taking a look at some of the other things that happened in 2020
month by month, from pop culture phenomena to mystery objects in our deserts and skies (full link in our stories)

Enjoy – and have a wonderful 2021!
