AkzonNobel, the producer of Dulux paints, invited friends and the media to celebrate Chinese New Year and launch its colour of 2014, teal, at Art Bug in Bras Basah. Journalists were given the task of painting a scene on a small canvas within 30 minutes, using a range of its colour palettes. First prize went to none other than Expat Living editor Amy Brook-Partridge, who received her gift vouchers from AkzonNobel’s Jeremy Rowe. Guests were also treated to a lo hei and three-course lunch, provided by Waterloo Times.
