DESCRIPTION:This year’s UWS STEM Fest on 27 June 2026 with the theme\, Shaping Tomorrow\, Today\, has a renewed focus on preparing young women and girls for a rapidly evolving technology-driven world\, where STEM (Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Mathematics) skills are increasingly critical to future readiness. \nThe festival is open to female students\, parents\, educators and the public. This year’s range of key activities designed to engage and inspire participants include: \n\nSpeed mentoring: Small group mentoring sessions with STEM professionals offering guidance on academic pathways and career opportunities\, alongside real-world insights into the industry.\nSTEM workshops: Interactive sessions and hands-on activities exploring fields such as AI\, robotics\, cybersecurity\, architecture and finance​​.\nInteractive booths: Exhibition-style showcases where participants can engage directly with industry experts and learn about the latest innovations and career pathways in the STEM verticals.\nCareer launchpad: A dedicated space to support career readiness including professional headshots\, elevator pitch coaching\, and interview preparation.\n\nMr Tan Kiat How\, Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and the Ministry of Health will be the Guest of Honour. \nUWS STEM Fest 2026 is the ​​annual flagship event​​​​ ​​under United Women Singapore’s Girls2Pioneers Programme. Since 2022\, the festival has reached over 3\,000 participants\, supported by 100+ partners and a strong volunteer network. This year’s festival is supported by over 30 organisations. \nAll activities are free but registration is required. Head here to register your spot.
