On stage in Singapore: Irish dance show Rian hits Esplanade Theatre in October 2013

Immerse yourself as dancers and musicians break out into a full party on stage during this joyful, unmistakably-Irish work by Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre.

Rian (which means “mark” or “trace” in Irish) is the collaboration of director and choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan and musician Liam Ó Maonlaí.  The stage show will evoke the life-enhancing spirit of community, and is set to be joyful, poignant and reflective. Dancers from around the world will express the spontaneity of dance and move through free-flowing emotional landscapes on a colourful green stage.

Accompanied by five of Irelands’ best musicians, Rian will delight and evoke faraway places with a rich melodic backdrop of Celtic and West African music, and the sounds of percussion, fiddles and pipes.

Rian will hit Singapore’s Esplanade Theatre later this year, with 8pm performances on October, 18 and 19 2013. Head to the website for more information and to book tickets, which start at $20.

Join in the merry-making in an evening marked by a generous spirit and an open-hearted celebration of life!
