How to watch the 2014 World Cup on TV in Singapore

This quadrennial tournament will kick off on 12 June 2015, with Brazil taking on Croatia, and end with the Final on 13 July. Want to watch the football games at home, but don’t have the right TV package?

How to catch the World Cup 2014

You’ll be able to catch the action on both SingTel and StarHub – and on your mobile via mio TV GO – for a one-time fee of $105. We’ve just done this at home and it was pretty easy – you can do it from selected Singtel stores or online (it took us about 10 minutes to sort it from the sofa).

There’s another way – those who sign up for (or simply extend) Gold Pack or mio Stadium+ contracts for two years can watch all 64 matches for free.

SingTel mio Channels 141 and 142; StarHub Channels 223 and 224. For schedules and more information, head here.

(Can’t be bothered with all this and watch to catch the World Cup games at the pub? Head here for your guide to bars on the island that show live football matches).
