On the hunt for elementary or high schools in Singapore? SJI International’s buzzing and vibrant campus just got an upgrade! Among the changes to the school campus, which is set in a lush, green part of the Thomson suburbs, is the opening of the new Toa Payoh West Entrance. This entrance is just a five-minute walk from Caldecott MRT station, making the school more accessible via public transport.
Meanwhile, students and teachers across the Elementary and High Schools now have access to more well-resourced facilities for a more conducive and interactive learning environment for all, thanks to the following welcome additions.
# New Blocks at the High School
There are now two new blocks on the campus that house additional High School classrooms, expanded art rooms, the Media Suite, a multipurpose hall and a Design & Technology (D&T) room. The latter is ideally timed, as SJI International has just launched the option of taking D&T as an IGCSE subject.
# Extra High School Science Labs
Two additional science labs for High School students brings the total number of labs in the school to 15. These are a great boost to the facilities, especially as science is a compulsory subject from Grade 7 to 12 at the school.
# Creative Arts Block
The Elementary School now boasts a new Creative Arts Block housing music and art rooms, the new and improved Digital Technologies Lab, and the state-of-the-art ESTV studio. The children now have bigger spaces to express themselves and get their creative juices flowing!
