Planning your Christmas or New Year’s family meal has never been easier – if you’re looking for all the style without any of the cooking, book into an all-you-can-eat buffet. At The Westin Singapore’s signature restaurant, Seasonal Tastes, incredible food is not all they offer – there’s free-flow champagne (or other drinks of choice) too! Don’t delay your booking as limited seats are available.
Christmas Lunch Options
Delicious roasted turkey wrapped in smoked bacon, served with cranberry sauce and caramelised chestnuts (oh my!) anyone? Expect a feast on both 24 and 25 December – other Christmas Eve highlights include whole baked snapper stuffed with seafood, and slow-roasted striploin with black pepper crust cooked in peppercorn and red wine sauce. For dessert, indulge in a decadent chocolate, whiskey and chestnut yule log.
Dine in the Sky
The restaurant experience is delightful – the live interactive kitchen will give you a more personalised, up-close dining experience and you’re certainly in for a treat with floor-to-ceiling windows highlighting truly breath-taking views of the cityscape and Marina Bay waterfront area from the 32nd floor.
Christmas Dinner Options
If dinner is what you’re more interested in, it’s available both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6pm to 10pm. Expect Western Christmas staples like roasted turkey, roasted baby lamb and leg of ham stuffed with turkey and roasted peppers, but also look forward to incredible Asian style fare like tom yum lobster, Singapore’s signature chilli crab, and baked salmon with curry scallops. For foie gras lovers, you’ll be delighted to know that it features in various dishes – chestnut and foie gras soup, turkey and foie gras meatballs and in the whole roasted turkey.
There will also be a carving station serving up a selection of delectable festive roasts, as well as a shellfish station, with chefs preparing mussels, clams, prawns and calamari a la minute, in the style that best suits your fancy – fried, steamed or sautéed!
Bring the little ones because they’ll go nuts for the dessert selection, which includes tartlets, authentic Italian gelato, sorbet and fluffy marshmallows and fruits dipped in fondue. Kid-friendly favourites include Christmas-themed cake pops and holiday cookies. Adult treats include port wine-poached pears and brandy fruit cake.
