Want to use the fast-track immigration lines? If your home country is one of the 21 members of APEC, it’s worth applying for the APEC Business Travel Card.
The APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) scheme was designed to help business professionals travel between the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies. The ABTC is a multiple journey visa which allows card holders free entry (no visa costs) for member countries.
As well as access to the ’fast-track’ immigration lanes (currently designated for air-crew) at major international airports in the United States, Canada and the Russian Federation card holders can use the designated APEC lanes at 18 of the participating economies.
Passport holders from all 21 participating countries, including Australia, Canada, Russia, New Zealand and the US, are all eligible for the card. Each card is valid for three years, or up to the validity of the passport, whichever is shorter.
To apply, visit the APEC Business Mobility Group.
The participating economies are Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea , Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
