Rev up for F1 Singapore 2017 with Ariana Grande and OneRepublic

This year’s F1 Singapore Grand Prix – to be held from 15 to 17 September – is back for its 10th year. Still undecided on going? The revealing of these acts is sure to change your mind! Expect an exciting line-up of local and international performers from the likes of Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers, OneRepublic, Duran Duran and more – you’re in for a real treat!

What to expect?

Get hyped up for Day 1:

Head over to the Padang stage (Zone 4) on the first night and jam out with American pop rock band OneRepublic – a perfect start to the F1 season. Expect nothing less than popular hits like “Counting Stars” and “Wherever I Go”.

While you’re there, don’t miss powerhouse singer Lianne La Havas and groove along to neo-soul and jazz tunes including “Unstoppable” and “Is Your Love Big Enough?” Or you could also catch her the next day at the Village Stage (Zone 1).


Going strong on Day 2:

Who doesn’t love The Chainsmokers? They’re one of the many amazing acts you can expect at the Padang stage (Zone 4) on 16 September (cue excited screams). Gather your best buds and sing along to popular singles including “Something Just Like This”, “Closer” and “Don’t Let Me Down” – we know you have those lyrics all memorised!

Save your voices as American pop princess Ariana Grande will be coming to Singapore for the first time and will perform at the Padang stage (Zone 4). Fans can look forward to her belting out all-time hits including “Side to Side”, “Into You” and “Bang Bang”.

Also, be sure to catch UK legends Duran Duran at the Village Stage (Zone 1). Feel the nostalgia with classics such as “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Save a Prayer” and enjoy their recent hits including “Last Night in the City (feat. Keisza)”. They’ll also be performing at the Padang stage (Zone 4) on the next day.

Born in London, George the Poet‘s musical poetry is nothing but unique and innovative. Look forward to insightful social commentary at Downtown (Zone 4) and again at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre (Zone 4) the next day.

If you love R&B, get excited as Seal comes to town. Catch the British sing-songwriter at the Village stage (Zone 1) and sing along to top hits including “Kiss From A Rose” and soundtracks from his newest album including “Every Time I’m with You”, “Do You Ever” and “Life on the Dancefloor”.

If you didn’t get to catch George The Poet and Duran Duran, they will also be performing for the second time at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre (Zone 4) and Padang stage (Zone 4) respectively.

The F1 season will end with Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter DJ Calvin Harris as the final headlining act. Catch him at the Padang Stage (Zone 4).

Race-goers are in for a huge treat with so many exciting performances to look forward to. International supporting acts include Canadian singer-songwriter Alysha Brilla, Malaysian rock band Kyoto Protocol, beatboxing trio Bloxed Beats from the UK and folk-pop, indie rock band Cale and the Gravity Well from the US.

Closer to home, expect some homegrown musicians making their debut at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. If you love hip-hop, you’ll want to catch THELIONCITYBOY and ShiGGa Shay. Vocal band MICappella, R&B singers Sam Rui, Vandetta and Tabitha Nauser will also be taking on the stage. Catch performances by Stopgap and Aarika Lee & The Next Movement and party hard with popular local nightclub Zouk‘s resident DJs Ghetto, LeNerd and Andrew Tang.

Besides these, head to the Empress Lawn for a stunning visual performance by Australian performing arts company Strange Fruit. You’ll be wowed by the mix of theatre, dance and circus acts. Enjoy Latin percussion and rock music with Groove Onkels from Germany and beats from DrumCat, an all-female drumming group from South Korea. Slow things down with the sounds of jazz, funk, Latin and hip-hop by Singapore’s first New Orleans-style New Stream Brass Band. Other stunning acts not to be missed include Treemendous TreantsCJ Bubble, acrobatic moustachioed trio Acro-Chaps and Lisa Lottie.

To attend headlining concerts in Zone 1, we suggest getting a hold of three-day Zone 1 tickets (from $448). If you’d like to watch all concerts in Zone 4, we recommend getting a three-day race ticket (from $248).
