Youth For Change Conference
18 December - 21 December$480
Violence affects some 1.7 billion children every year. Children have a right to live free from violence, but it will take a world to bring it to an end. World Vision’s annual Youth For Change Conference, which will be held in Bangkok on 18-21 December 2018, will highlight child protection challenges in a range of contexts and equip you to be part of the solution in your community. Visit www.worldvision.org.sg/yfcc to learn more about the exciting programme for this year and register for a spot now!
World Vision is an international humanitarian organisation committed to addressing the needs of the most vulnerable children and families worldwide. We work with disadvantaged communities to tackle the root causes of poverty and injustice, and to address a range of essential needs that have a critical bearing on the livelihoods of families and the well-being of children. More information about our humanitarian and development programmes is available at www.worldvision.org.sg.
YFCC was begun in 2016 as an international youth engagement platform for bringing students and young professionals interested in humanitarian affairs and sustainable development together in a cross-cultural setting. Through speaker sessions, workshops, field visits to World Vision’s project sites, and cultural activities, conference attendees receive in-depth exposure to contemporary discourses on the human impact of global challenges (including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, peace and justice), particularly as they pertain to the well-being of children. Following two well-received runs in Phnom Penh (in 2016) and Yangon (in 2017), we are excited to welcome cause-inspired youth to Bangkok this year on 18-21 December.
