Wings and Wherewithals
8 July @ 12:00 pm - 28 July @ 5:30 pm
We are at the height of summer, the sun is blazing, flowers are blooming, and Kat Casapao shows us some of the more flightly inhabitants of Singapore, together with the brightly-coloured flowers and fruits that they feed on in Wings and Wherewithals. Inspired by the local flora and fauna of Singapore, Kat studies them in her new home by immortalizing them in paint.
Kat Casapao used to go for long walks with her aunt, a nature enthusiast, and talk about birds, butterflies and trees. Living here in Singapore and observing the local flora and fauna gave her the inspiration to learn more about them, and to immortalize them in paint.
