The Emotional Cheerleader
14 August @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
2020 has been one of the craziest roller-coaster rides we have ever been on. Not one family hasn’t been affected by COVID-19 in some way, and unfortunately a lot of people now are struggling with change. Some kids have developed anxiety because of the change in their everyday routine. Some adults have lost their jobs and income. Some families will have to move, but don’t know where they’ll be moving to.
What happens to everyone in a family when change like this happens? How can you prepare and support your family members? How can you take care of yourself so you are mentally prepared to support them? And what happens when you are not prepared to be the strong person?
Join us, along with Tanja Faessler-Moro, founder of Counselling Connectz, and Pru Jones, a couples and family counsellor, to get the lowdown on how to be mentally strong for everyone when times are tough. They will also answer your questions – on anything from how to support a stressed spouse or anxious child, to dealing with a midlife crisis. Just send your questions ahead of the session to Susan.Knudsen@expatliving.
The Zoom address will be sent to you when you register. See you online!
