The Botanist presents the Bar Trench / Ars & Delecto Residency at Gibson

In continuation of The Botanist Residencies Series that took Singapore’s bar scene by storm earlier in the year, Hisatsugu Saito of Bar Trench (Tokyo, Japan; ranked 16 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2018) and the newly-opened Ars & Delecto (Shanghai, China) will be in town for a guest bartending stint at Gibson for two nights only on 31 August and 1 September.
Inspired by The Botanist Gin and its 22 botanicals hand foraged locally and sustainably on Islay across the four seasons, this residency will see Gibson’s Aki Eguchi, Gento Torigata and Silvio Daniele join hands with Hisatsugu Saito of Bar Trench and Ars & Delecto to present an exclusive 10 drink menu revolving around the transition from Summer to Autumn.
On 31 August, Saito will begin his residency with five specially concocted drinks created to depict the transition between Summer and Autumn through the use of flavours and ingredients associated with each season, from the fresh, summery scent of basil to the warm, sweet aroma of almonds in orgeat syrup, reminiscent of fall.
