Singapore Theatre Festival 2018
5 July @ 7:30 pm - 22 July @ 10:00 pm
Singapore Theatre Festival is back this July, and being the only festival in Singapore that focuses on presenting fully realised productions of new local writing, this season will feature a thrilling line-up of eight brand new plays, including seven world premieres such as former Straits Times journalist Tan Tarn How’s “Press Gang” and Thomas Lim’s “Supervision” – a funny, tense and insightful new work that asks pressing questions about a domestic worker’s right to privacy, dignity and freedom, exciting festivities and the newly launched W!LD & Free programme which will see 500 free tickets set aside for youths. You can also see first-time playwrights Ruth Tang and Chong Woon Yong take the stage, offering fresh and unique perspectives on theatre and the arts.
