Mould – how it affects your health
9 September @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Did you know that Singapore is one of the most ideal environments for mould to grow? If you’ve ever been on holiday and come back to find all your things mouldy, you’ll definitely know! The combination of high temperatures and humidity allows mould to easily build up behind your bed, under your kitchen sink, at the back of your closet and in other spots around the house. Eeks!
Seemingly harmless, if left untreated, airborne mould spores can negatively impact our health. Infants, the elderly, and people with existing respiratory or skin conditions such as allergies or asthma are especially susceptible to the adverse impact of mould. Even a healthy child can react to it, causing the development of allergies that they didn’t have before or symptoms such as sneezing, sore throat, coughing, and red and runny eyes.
Find out how you can protect your family against the harmful effects of mould! We’ll be chatting with Andrew The Mould Expert of Mouldgone to find out what we can do to prevent mould and what we can do if it’s present in the house. There will also be a guest doctor on hand to explain the hazards of living with mould and how it can affect general wellbeing.
