Motoring Heritage Day 2019
25 August @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
Dempsey Hill’s Motoring Heritage Day is back in August! Celebrating the finest in historic motoring, this one-day exhibition will showcase immaculate pre-war vintage and post-war classic cars and motorcycles, spanning the 1930s to the 1980s. On display at the event are exquisite marques such as Daimler, Jaguar, BMW and Mercedes-Benz as well as Alfa Romeo, Citroen, Volkswagen and Fiat. There’ll also be popular British classics like MG and Triumph, including vintage motorcycles and bicycles of the golden era. A special highlight this year is the joyous “birthday” celebration commemorating the 60th year of the British Mini that was first launched in August 1959.
Besides the vintage car display, guests can sip cocktails and dig into delicious eats at food pop-ups set up by Dempsey Hill’s restaurants. The Goodburger food truck will be serving perfectly grilled Impossible burgers until 9pm. You can also browse stalls selling items such as handcrafted sunglasses by home-grown brand The Rocket Eyewear Company. Little ones will be kept entertained by children’s workshop and entertainers. The first 100 visitors for the day will also receive a goodie bag with dining and retail vouchers from participating tenants.
