Mindfulness with Flowers

Join Tan Cheen Chong, mindfulness teacher, and florist, Juliana Foo in a mindfulness session where you will be introduced to your five senses through a relaxed and hands-on experience. They will briefly discuss the science and benefits of cultivating this habit, before experiencing a simple and popular mindfulness technique: awareness of breath. As a group, you will then share about your experiences, and discuss insights on how this skill is applicable in our daily lives.
They’ll then move into free-form flower-arranging, where participants will be introduced to flower care, and choosing the correct flowers. Then, learn how to appreciate the beauty through smell, sight, touch and immerse in making your arrangement while being aware of these senses.
