Kombucha 101 with Sasha’s Fine Foods — Live Talk and Demo on Zoom
30 September @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
What’s the true cost of the food we eat, and how much actually goes back to the farmer trying to make a sustainable living? To address this question meaningfully, Sasha Conlan, founder of Singapore-based online grocer Sasha’s Fine Foods, recently launched Sasha’s Farms. This non-profit social enterprise aims to support food businesses who believe in putting purpose, quality and sustainability before profit. The mission is to radically reduce the distance between you and the food on your plate.
Sasha’s Farms products are available for purchase on the Sasha’s Fine Foods online store, and they include a range of healthy, probiotic-heavy kombuchas. Matt Cook is the multi-talented man behind these; he lovingly makes small batches in a little fermenting café in Uluwatu, Bali. After his father was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease and passed away, Matt founded Kore Culture Lab, a company dedicated to healthy, good-quality food and drinks. These innovative, clean, low-sugar beverages will keep you refreshed and your gut healthy!
In this interactive online session, Sasha and Matt will share more about the inspiration behind these products and the amazing health benefits they offer, followed by a live demo of how kombucha is brewed – so have your notes ready!
