About The Winter Players
The Winter Players is a young Singaporean theatre collective under Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Company-in-Residence Programme. The collective was formally established by LASALLE College of the Arts graduate Marwyn Ho and his peers from across the University. It’s a rallying point for the next generation of young, passionate theatre makers committed to bringing the works they love to life onstage. The collective’s main mission is to explore, resurrect and reinvent great works of international literature. They want to share their deep love for classic works with the Singapore audience. While they entertain, they also want to cultivate a shared experience that celebrates both the tradition of classic literature and forms, and the dynamic spirit of present day art, theatre, and audiences.
