Giving Week 2018: Diverse activities to give, play, shop while doing good
27 November - 5 December
Giving Week is a national movement organised by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, a non-profit organisation that promotes a giving culture in Singapore to build a City of Good. In its fourth year, Giving Week returns with more diverse opportunities for Singaporeans to embrace giving as a way of life throughout the week. From 27 November to 5 December, members of the public can participate in an array of festivals and activities to volunteer, donate, or encourage others to make a difference.
Have fun while doing good at The Good Hubs – check out various festivals across the island over the week, from an evening of shopping and circus acts with social enterprises and non-profits along Club Street, to a weekend of carnival games for the whole family at the Sports Hub. Look forward to the mini-festival hubs at The Fullerton Hotel and Singapore Innovation Park – dine at one of SEED’s refurbished shipping container restaurants or enjoy a night of Christmas lights at The Fullerton Hotel with your loved ones. Local arts lovers can look forward to a public screening of films by notable Singaporean filmmakers that inspire giving.
