Gifts from the Heart: A Community Celebration

From now until 24 December, volunteers from the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) will be wrapping Christmas presents at eight shopping malls and community spaces across Singapore. For a minimum $1 donation, get your gifts wrapped in celebratory wrappers and receive a heartfelt message card featuring artwork by seniors from the ElderAid programme. You can also make a donate via SRC’s festive campaign page. All donations will support SRC’s local social services, to uplift the elderly who live alone, underprivileged families and their children and youth, persons with disabilities, migrant workers, and vulnerable communities.

Locations, dates and times:

• Until 20 December – Raffles Place MRT, 10am to 7pm (closed on weekends); Woodlands MRT, 9am to 6pm; Dhoby Ghaut MRT, 9am to 6pm
• Until 24 December – Chinatown Point, 12nn to 8pm; Marina Square, 12nn to 8pm; West Mall, 10am to 10pm
• 9 to 15 December, 11am to 8pm – Hougang Mall
• 2 to 24 December, 12nn to 8pm – KINEX, United Square, Velocity, Tiong Bahru Plaza
