Christmas on a Great Street 2024

Orchard Road is lighting up for Christmas once again! From 9 November, Christmas lights will turn on and dazzle the street. This year will feature a new 14-metre tall Christmas tree, nightly snowfall shows from 10 November to 1 January 2025, two Great Christmas Villages, Music in the Air, augmented reality multimedia projections, and countdowns for Christmas and the New Year.

The Christmas Eve Street Party with countdown to Christmas returns with live DJ performances, roving mascots, pop-up stalls, food trucks as well as other festive attractions stretching from ION Orchard to Ngee Ann City. From 6pm to 2am, Paterson Road junction to Bideford Road junction will be closed to vehicular traffic; the countdown festivities to Christmas Day begins at 8pm.

This year’s new initiative is ORBar on A Great Street. It involves a bar-hopping experience to four bars in the precinct where a passport entitles revellers to two cocktails at each bar. The drinks can be redeemed all the way until 31 January 2025.
