Celebrate Singapore’s Heritage at the Singapore HeritageFest 2025
1 May @ 8:00 am - 25 May @ 5:00 pm

Singapore HeritageFest (SHF) returns from 1 to 25 May with over 100 programmes to bring Singaporeans together to celebrate the nation’s rich Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH), also known as living heritage, as part of SG60.
The festival honours the traditions, crafts, stories and skills that have been passed down through generations – featuring cultural performances, craft workshops, food heritage experiences, exhibitions and more.
This year’s edition highlights the individuals and communities keeping Singapore’s Intangible Cultural Heritage alive – from hawkers and artisans to performers and heritage businesses. Festival highlights include Out of the Red Box, a lively mash-up of Chinese opera and getai; heritage jamu- and lantern-making workshops; and the ever-popular HOMEGROUND Village at Gardens by the Bay.
With programmes spanning MRT stations, museums, civic spaces and heartland venues, SHF 2025 invites everyone to rediscover the shared practices that shape Singapore’s identity.
