A Christmas Carol
13 December - 15 December
British Theatre Playhouse and The British Club have teamed up to bring the spirit of love and thanksgiving with a reprise of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol this December. First published in 1843, A Christmas Carol tells the journey of self-discovery of cold-hearted and misanthropic Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge encounters the spirits of his past, present and future.
The timeless tale of redemption will be performed by British stage, television and film actor Clive Francis. Adapted from the production by the Royal Shakespeare Company of London in 1997, his exclusive one-man presentation of the Christmas classic has toured successfully in the UK since 2015, performing to full houses.
There will be an after-show Christmas party at the club’s rooftop bar ($40 per person, including two drinks and a finger food buffet) where you can meet the actor over drinks and food. Non-members can also dine at the club restaurant with every show ticket purchase.
- 13 & 14 December (Friday & Saturday): 8pm
- 15 December (Sunday): 5pm
