With Autumn well underway, plus the added bonus of the Mid Autumn Festival and Golden Week celebrations, now is a top time to visit Hong Kong. As Christmas draws nearer (how did that happen?), and the weather cools even more, why not book a stay at a much tried and tested HK hotel (favorite of Editor-in-Chief Rebecca Bisset) – the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong?
It sounds cheesy, but one of the (many) things I adore about Hong Kong is that there really is something for everyone. If you’re young and single, the night life of Lan Kwai Fong might be your scene? For families, a trip to Stanley, where you take in some coffee culture and have some beach action too, should give you a welcome relief from the busy streets of Central. For the romantic mini-breaker, a Harbour cruise on an old fashioned Junk with some bubbles would be a winner.
When it comes to where to stay though, the options are endless. Much like this vibrant city- the beauty of the Grand Hyatt is its wide appeal. It’s a great place to stay for both couples, families and the business traveller. It’s central location gives you easy access to all hot spots and the fact it’s on the Harbour gives you a sense of space with that incredible and iconic view to boot.
Why not check into one of the newly designed Club Rooms, with exclusive access to the newly renovated Grand Club Lounge. The hotel also has a 50 metre outdoor heated swimming pool, so the kids can let off some steam or you can take in some lengths. There’s the award winning Plateau Spa too if you’re feeling like a treat.
‘Judge a hotel by its buffet breakfast’ , was an opinion shared with me recently by a friend. Thankfully the buffet breakfast at the Grand Hyatt is truly extensive, ranging from a smart fry-up to ham carved from the bone, to Dim Sum, to fresh fruits of all shapes and sizes. Is it wrong to pop a few mini croissants into my handbag for snacking on later?
To mark the launch of the brand new Grand Club Lounge and Club Rooms, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong invite you to try their ‘Upgrade – Take Two’ offer. This includes a guaranteed room upgrade valid for stays of 3 or more consecutive nights from 7 September to 31 December 2015. A few restrictions apply so read the small print.
Don’t forget to book your next stay whilst you’re there too- returning guests will enjoy the complimentary upgrade for their next visit as well!
PS: Besides taking in the gorgeous views and exciting nightlife, you’ll never be short of other things to do in Hong Kong, and it needn’t cost the earth.
