Want an eco-friendly cleaning solution?

16th February 2018 by Anthia Chng 2 Min Read

Looking for a gentle yet effective formula for cleaning your home? Tired of lugging bulky bottles of floor cleansers from the store? Here we run our eye over Soluball, a new eco-friendly cleaning product for the home and office.

Clean your home with one tablet

What it is

Soluball is a concentrated cleaning product in small tablet form. You simply drop one tablet into eight litres of water and it dissolves into a colourless, anti-bacterial cleaning solution with a lovely lavender scent. The product is affordable ($6.90 for 30 tablets) and offers the same amount of use as larger, bulkier bottles of floor cleaner, owing to its concentrated formula. What’s more, this nifty tablet is anti-bacterial, gentle on skin and 100 percent bio-degradable.

The story

Created by Alex Chiau and Roberta Ong, the duo behind cleaning and laundry service Laundry Maid, this unique tablet cleanser replaces regular floor cleansers that are bulky and heavy. Embarking on an intensive research and development journey, the team developed an effective cleaning solution using a tablet. This was awarded a patent by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). After undergoing a recent upgrade, the product now boasts a more effective design, which uses an encapsulated liquid ball that dissolves into an effective yet gentle cleaning solution in seconds.

Don’t miss

From 1 Feb till 31 March, Soluball is offering a one-for-one promotion ($6.90 each, original price), available at NTUC FairPrice Finest and on the Soluball site. Plus, you can enjoy free local delivery if you order six bottles or more.

Hear from the customers

“Soluball is a revolutionary way of cleaning – 30 dissolvable, biodegradable Soluballs sit in my cupboard in a container smaller than a can of soft drink. Just drop one into a bucket of water and it dissolves easily; so much simpler than the big bottles of floor cleaner I used to use. This has the most amazing smell, is anti-allergy and safe for babies. I love it!” – Danielle Rossetti, Digital Sales Manager at Expat Living Singapore

“I like how compact and convenient this floor cleanser is. It’s easy to carry from the store (NTUC FairPrice Finest), unlike the bulky bottles of cleansers we typically use at home. What’s more, there’s no need to measure the amount of liquid to use since one tablet is all it takes!” – Anthia Chng, Beauty Editor at Expat Living Singapore

“I’m very impressed with the practicality of this floor cleaner. Not only does it clean well, I also don’t have to fuss over mopping anymore because it’s so light and easy to use. I must admit I now look forward to that little housecleaning fun daily!” – Ms Everton, housewife

“Instead of the typical old dark blue pellet which we use in the toilet, I find this to be an excellent alternative to drop a ball with every toilet flush! I love that Soluball is colourless and leaves behind a very refreshing scent, too.” – Mrs Ngoh, housewife

Available at NTUC FairPrice Finest and online
