Dressmaker for wedding dresses
Hong Kong-born founder Christie Choi grew up in a dressmaker family, where she first learnt dressmaking under her mother’s tutelage. After completing her further studies in the UK, she returned home to help run the family business, but eventually moved here, where she started this bridal shop in Singapore, CCM Wedding.
Each 90-minute appointment ensures that every bride (or mother) is given undivided attention through a detailed consultation. Apart from bespoke gowns, this bridal boutique showcases ready-to-wear collections to buy and wedding gown rental. CCM Wedding also specialises in evening gowns, cheongsams and qun kuas (traditional Chinese wedding dress).

Bridal shop for alternative brides
Frieda Brides’ story began when founder Natalia was struggling to find the perfect dress for her beachfront wedding. Seeing how hard it was for brides-to-be to find boho and simpler wedding dresses in Singapore, as well as good quality designer wedding gowns, without breaking the bank, she went on to start Frieda Brides and the rest is history!
Tucked in the second floor of a shophouse along Kampong Bahru, the cosy boutique is blessed with plenty of natural light, which makes for great photos. Natalia handpicks brands from across the globe, including popular Anna Campbell from Melbourne, and New York-based label Tatyana Merenyuk. You’ll find a fab assortment at accessible prices, from flowy bohemian styles perfect for destination weddings, to more formal designs suitable for the altar. We’ve fallen head over heels with Aussie brand Made with Love – think elegant, lace-focused designs in flattering cuts. Wedding gown rentals available too.
