Must-try products at Cold Storage Australia Fair

21st February 2023 by Deepa Chevi 2 Min Read

Love Australian food and produce or looking for some treats from down under? Cold Storage and CS Fresh’s Australia Fair is happening island-wide till 8 March! Have your pick from a wide range of popular brands and Australian products imported directly – including fresh produce, dairy selections including Greek yoghurt and cheeses, cabernet sauvignon and other wines, treats like Tim Tams and more.

Here’s some Australian food and wine at the fair that you absolutely must check out!

XXXL Avocados

It’s almost impossible these days to find a brunch menu at an Australian café that doesn’t feature at least one dish with smashed avocado on toast. If you’re missing the outback, try your hand at making your favourite Australian café smashed avo on toast with these delicious XXXL avocados!

Purple Cauliflower

produce from Australia food purple cauliflower

Sweeter, prettier and all-natural, the purple hue in this produce from Australia is a result of the antioxidant Anthocyanin – also found in purple cabbage and wine. The purple cauliflower also has more Vitamin A than white cauliflowers.

Tasmanian Salmon

This fresh produce is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and a good source of potassium. It is also a superfood because of its nutrient profile, but the most important thing about this Australian food is the taste!

Frenched Rack of Lamb

meat products from Australia at Cold Storage Singapore

Great for a night with family and friends, this French lamb rack up for grabs at Cold Storage’s Australia Fair tastes best roasted or barbecued! If you’re not a fan of lamb, the Fair also features other meat cuts such as beef, pork and chicken.

Pepperjack Sangiovese

Australian wines PepperJack Sangiovese

Modern and approachable with a small splash of cabernet sauvignon, this wine is guaranteed to be a true crowd-pleaser. The palate shows fresh fruits of red cherry, fresh cranberries with savoury chalky tannins which give length and finesse; while boasting aromas of dried herbs, forest floor, aniseed, ripe plum, brambles and subtle oak characters.

Chobani Fat-free Greek Yoghurt Berry

Australian dairy products Chobani Greek Yoghurt

Chobani Greek Yogurt is crafted from farm-fresh local milk and comes in three variations – non-fat, low-fat, and whole milk. It’s the perfect base for breakfast bowls and smoothies, and other treats.

Four n Twenty Beef and Cheese Pie

snacks from Australia Four n Twenty Beef and Cheese Pie

The best of Australian food, these meat pies are, without a doubt, one of the most delicious snacks around. The combination of pastry, meat, gravy and veggies makes it the ideal go-to for a night in with comfort food. Or while watching some sport on the telly!

Arnott’s Tim Tam Dark Chocolate Biscuit

Australian snacks Tim Tams

The Tim Tam is a loved chocolate biscuit and probably one of the most well known Australian food exports. Its unique combination of biscuit, cream filling and chocolate coating makes it an indulgent treat that can also be shared with friends and family.

Still looking for more true blue Australian food? There’s so much more to discover at Cold Storage and CS Fresh Australia Fair, happening till 8 March. You can also have a taste or two when you visit these stores during the weekends – Cold Storage Compass One, Cold Storage Jelita, CS Fresh Great World, CS Fresh Gold Tanglin and CS Fresh Gold Paragon.

Prefer to shop online? You can get your favourite Australian treats on Cold Storage’s website too. Don’t miss out on their weekly promotions happening during the Australia Fair!
