Singapore’s a famously foodie city and loves a celebration – there’s a lot to choose from! Here’s our roundup of where to go for fabulously festive Christmas menus and yuletide treats this holiday season.
Stellar at 1-Altitude
Scene: Enter a winter wonderland, and enjoy fantastic views over the CBD.
Spend: From $130 to $150 for window seats.
Spread: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner menus feature dishes such as Scottish salmon gravadlax with pickled beetroot and potato snow, caramelised foie gras with eggnog crème brûlée, a live station for slow-roasted turkey and bone-in ham with all the trimmings, as well as luxurious desserts such as the white chocolate snowball, vanilla blancmange, and pastry chef Jasmin Chew’s whimsical Snow Garden creation.
Christmas Day brunch includes fresh seasonal seafood and shellfish, premium charcuterie and foie gras, pasta and brunch favourites, paired with Moët & Chandon Imperial Champagne. Carry on the festive vibe with Christmas cocktails such as the Snowball or the Stellar Below Zero, while admiring the views from the rooftop bar.
Scene: Dine beside the Sentosa seaside in this luxury hotel.
Spend: Christmas brunch at The Knolls costs $228 per adult, including free-flow wine and champagne.
Spread: On 24 and 25 December guests can celebrate an authentically Mediterranean Christmas at The Knolls, with special menus, leading up to the highlight of the season, a gourmand’s brunch spread setting the stage for a magical Christmas Day.
Afternoon tea with a festive twist will run throughout December at The Knolls (on weekdays) and at Cassia (on weekends and public holidays).
For those looking for a little romance over the end-of-year period, Cassia will be offering lavish Oriental set menus on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, served in its intimate setting.

Conrad Centennial Singapore
Scene: Just next door to Millenia Walk, this is a perfect spot for Christmas dining and shopping.
Spend: Christmas Day lunch from 12 noon to 3pm costs $198, with free-flow Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV champagne, house wine and beer.
Spread: Set the festive mood with some Christmas carols; the hotel lobby will host carolling from the National University of Singapore choir group from 23 to 25 December (call to enquire about times). Oscar’s restaurant is the main spot for a festive feast in the hotel, and families are well catered for with a kids’ corner, including balloon-sculpting, face-painting and other activities. Pick a day from 5 to 25 December, and feast on everything from traditional roast turkey with chestnut stuffing and spicy cranberry sauce to glazed suckling pig with raisins and shallot confit, as well as an array of seafood including nine types of oysters.
No festive meal is complete without decadent desserts, and the Conrad will serve a selection of log cakes this season, from traditional buttercream and rum, chestnut and vanilla bûche de Noël to modern mousse logs such as a red-velvet wild-strawberries mousseline.
Grand Hyatt Singapore
Scene: Buzzing, sprawling hotel in the heart of Orchard.
Spend: Mezza9’s à la carte menu features dishes such as smoked mackerel Scotch egg with horseradish velouté ($22), and wood-roasted duck breast with carrots, parsnips and orange sauce ($46). Available from 1 to 25 December.
Spread: It would be hard not to find something you like with the hotel’s five varied festive food concepts to choose from, as well as its Santa’s Shop selling Christmas food for home dining. Options include grazing-style afternoon tea menus in 10 Scotts, a buffet filled with European-inspired dishes in Mezza9, rustic Italian cuisine in Pete’s Place, festive dining with a Singapore spin at StraitsKitchen, and a sumptuous outdoor barbecue at Oasis.
Scene: Peranakan-style luxury hotel in the heart of Singapore’s arts and cultural precinct.
Spend: Christmas Day or Boxing Day brunch from 11.30am to 4pm costs $178 per adult, including free-flow Perrier-Jouët champagne, cocktails and wine.
Spread: The hotel’s newly opened Ash & Elm restaurant is serving up both lunch and dinner Christmas menus, while the lobby lounge is host to a more informal Christmas tea. Ash & Elm’s semi-buffet lunch, from 1 to 23 December, includes cold cuts and terrine or cheese to start, a choice of mains and a dessert of strawberry log cake or salted caramel éclair. The Christmas Day and Boxing Day brunch boasts a large seafood platter, soups with a festive feel such as chicken and chestnut velouté, and a range of roasts and all the trimmings you could dream of. Finish with a ginger-spiced bread pudding with cinnamon sauce.
Scene: Hearty cuisine from central Europe served in this elegant restaurant within the refurbished Capitol Theatre.
Spend: The special Christmas menu costs $88 for two to share, and is available up to 25 December.
Spread: Along with recipes from the former Habsburg Empire, you can expect robust flavours here, and a wide range of wines from countries including Austria, Slovenia and Croatia – there’s also Hirter draft beer, available exclusively at Kaiserhaus. The Christmas menu gives diners a choice of soup, then roasted duck with dumplings, red cabbage, chestnuts and Christmas apple jus, followed by a slice of homemade cake or pastry, all washed down with a glass of wine or beer.
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel

Spread: The three festive set menus feature a selection of dishes with modern Cantonese flavours, and incorporating luxurious ingredients such as truffle, wagyu beef and lobster. A variety of dining options are available throughout December. Choose from a six-course festive menu from 1 to 30 December (excluding 24 and 25), or the Christmas Eve or Christmas Day set menu serving up wok-fried truffle lobster, pumpkin pork rib and chilled cream of pumpkin with purple yeast sago topped with ice cream and cranberry wine puff. Or go for the yum cha brunch on Christmas Day (also available on New Year’s Day), with unlimited servings of 40 types of dim sum, and a DIY cocktail station.

Spread: This Christmas, patrons will be spoilt for choice with three festive dining options: a ‘Fabulous Feast’ (to be shared with a minimum of three people at $110/pax), a traditional ala carte three-course dinner ($85/pax), and canapé packages (from $60/pax) for larger bookings, all within the charming, quirky interior of the restaurant. Special festive offerings include savoury snacks like Pork Scratchings, starters like the Spiced Duck Rillette, a selection of mains including the juicy Spiced Whole Roasted Duck, Slow-Roast Rolled Kurobuta Pork Belly and a decadent 28 Day Dry Aged Grass Fed Striploin. Pan Pacific Orchard
Scene: Located in the heart of the Orchard Road shopping belt, but set back just enough to offer respite from the crowds.
Spend: The Christmas Day luncheon on 24 and 25 December from 12 noon to 3pm costs $888 per table of up to ten people.
Spread: Book a table at the Christmas Day luncheon and impress your guests with your carving abilities, as you receive a traditional roast turkey with chestnut stuffing and condiments, as well as a whole leg of honey baked ham with sides at the table. Children will be happy, as they’ll have a dedicated corner including their very own buffet and activities to keep them entertained. For the adults, a bottle of red or white wine is given to each table. For a more casual yet refined experience, the Lobby Lounge will also be serving festive-inspired treats throughout December.
Pan Pacific Singapore
Scene: Five-star-hotel close to Marina Square with an open and light restaurant overlooking the large lobby atrium.
Spend: $158 for Christmas dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, with free-flow Veuve Clicquot champagne and selected wines.
Spread: Choose from a two-and-a-half-hour lunch on Christmas Eve, a two-hour feast for lunch on Christmas Day, or turn it up a notch and indulge in a four-hour dinner on 24 or 25 December.
The Edge restaurant promises a Pacific Christmas, with the Christmas Eve lunch menu including Vietnamese sweet river prawns, crayfish and half-shell scallops, along with traditional whole turkey, smoked juniper ham and Christmas Black Forest ham. Then there’s the Boston lobster and Alaskan king crab, and duck confit rillettes, assorted salami and gingerbread turkey sausage prepared by master butcher Leonhard Weber.
And don’t forget the sweets: they include Jamaican pepper-infused fruitcake, and English plum pudding served with brandied butterscotch.
Raffles Hotel Singapore
Scene: Indulge in the historical colonial setting of this famous hotel.
Spend: The Christmas Day festive set lunch in Raffles Grill from 12 noon costs $218 per person.
Spread: If you can’t quite stretch to the celebratory suite package – one night in the Presidential Suite with a raft of luxury treats for $19,650 – there are plenty of other options to suit different tastes and wallets. From 1 December, the Tiffin Room will hold daily lunch and dinner Christmas buffets, while Raffles Grill will serve a five-course degustation menu for Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch. The Long Bar Steakhouse will be serving up top-quality grilled prime cuts of US beef on Christmas Day, and then of course there’s the Bar & Billiard Room, lubricating visitors with Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve Champagne and a lavish spread from Christmas Eve dinner to Christmas Day brunch and dinner.
The Westin Singapore
Scene: Contemporary cool on the edge of the CBD.
Spend: The Christmas Day free-flow brunch buffet costs $178 per adult.
Spread: Kick-start the Christmas celebrations with the Christmas Eve lunch buffet at Seasonal Tastes, with apple honey-glazed turkey, chestnut stuffing, port reduction, pineapple-glazed ham and spiced pumpkin pie.
The Christmas Eve dinner buffet, Christmas brunch buffet and Christmas Day dinner buffet will include festive mainstays such as maple-glazed ham and turkey, Novia Scotia lobster, snow crabs, an indulgent chocolate Yule log and a cheese Yule log, with the indispensable free-flow champagne, wines and soft drinks.
