SHAUN BELL moved to Singapore from Melbourne a year ago, and he and his family have been enjoying leasing a car to get around the city.
What type of car do you drive? A blue Renault Grand Scenic, 2018 model.
What are the best features of the car? It’s an all-rounder – a good size for the family, but easy to park, with the flexibility to carry a load but also a seven-seater if needed. It’s also fuel-efficient and affordable.
What do you use the car for most? I use it to commute from Sentosa to Toh Tuck day in, day out, dropping the kids at school on the way. Weekends are for visiting the beach, driving the family around and shopping, of course.
Why did you choose Wearnes for your car? Reputation, word of mouth, the range of vehicles, and the great deals available.
Tell us a bit about the service Wearnes has provided. Mandy’s service has been spectacular! She’s responsive, practical, easy to deal with, and super-efficient.
What are the best things about driving in Singapore? Everything is so accessible. My favourite road is the bridge that takes me back home to Sentosa every night.
What cars did you drive before coming to Singapore? I drove a Porsche Cayman, and we had a Toyota Kluger as a family car.
Are you a “car person”? If so, what’s your dream car? Right now, I’m a practical car person… but my dream car is a Porsche 911 RS!
