Looking for a recommended photographer in Singapore to capture the best side of you and the kids? A family photoshoot is a great idea – especially getting prints made for Christmas presents and to send to family back home. Our readers tell us about their experiences with these top family photographers in Singapore.
Tomato Photo – Family photographer in Singapore
Hui Ying, Singaporean
“Hart is the Master Photographer at Tomato Photo, and he works really well with a big group. The more people there are, the harder it is to get a perfect shot. Other family photographers in Singapore may be able to handle one child and parents but when there are more and more people to photograph – especially younger kids – it gets harder to get perfect shots.
Hart is good at priming everyone so that when it’s time for the photo shoot, everyone is ready. The packages and pricing are clear, the results are always outstanding and it’s a quick turnaround in getting the photos back – just 48 hours from the shoot!
If you want perfect family photoshoot that captures the moment while having a great experience with the kids, Hart is the best.”

White Room Studio – For a great family photo shoot
Bryan and Maggie Peck, American, and baby Emma
“We moved from the US to Singapore and we’ve been here for almost four years; we had Emma in March 2020. For her first birthday, we wanted to do a cake smash photoshoot. A couple of our friends had a fantastic experience with White Room Studio. We saw how great their photos turned out and we knew we wanted to get Emma’s first birthday photos done by the same team.
The cake smash session was held at the studio and it was a smooth and fun experience. Emma was rather active and wanted to explore the space. Dan, the photographer, was very patient and worked with Emma while she roamed around exploring. He gave great direction but allowed us to be natural, which shows in the photos. The environment was very relaxed and we enjoyed our time there. The cake they supplied was beautiful and the experience was so much fun.”
Beatrice Contrini Photography – Good photographer in Singapore
Jacqueline and Justin Morrison, Australian and Canadian; and children Alexander, Monty and Francesca
“We wanted someone who could capture a true and realistic reflection of us as a family, combined with a true Singapore flavour. I searched on some Facebook groups for photographers and tallied up all those that had positive reviews. I reviewed the look and feel of Beatrice’s portfolio and she was a clear winner.
Most of our family outings are utter chaos and I gave Beatrice fair warning. She took it all in her stride and went with the flow. She managed to capture us as our true selves and the kids’ spirits shone through in the pictures.
We had our hearts set on the iconic Singapore shophouses and street art backdrops. Beatrice knew the territory well and navigated the entire shoot smoothly – we didn’t upset any residents while also getting the shots we were after. She was so flexible with the kids but also had a plan in mind. It made the whole session flow so well.
After the photoshoot, Beatrice turned the photos around quickly and the entire process was incredibly efficient. We would definitely recommend Beatrice for other families. And, will be asking her for another family photoshoot in future for us to commemorate our time as a family in Singapore.”

Littleones Photography Studio in Singapore
Sophie and Paul Gudgeon, British and British-Australian, and son Arthur
“Our friends had a baby just before us, so we bought for them one of the new baby packages by Kate. Her photography is natural and bright – she creates clean and simple compositions, which means that it’s the content of the image that really shines through.
We decided to invest in our own new baby photos when Artie was born. He was just two weeks old and the shoot was at her studio. She made us both feel really comfortable despite the fact that we were in a sleepless blur at that stage! She was really amazing with Artie; she soothed him when he was fussing and gently changed his positions without waking him.
We did another family photoshoot with Kate when Artie was 10 months old. Both our families haven’t met him due to travel restrictions and my mum had suggested photos to send to both grandparents. Artie now had a full range of expressions and smiles that we wanted to capture. We did the photoshoot at home and Kate was amazing at finding the best light and compositions. We love all of the memories that Kate captured and it has given our families such joy receiving all the images.
Kate is really warm and a pleasure to work with. She’s also incredibly flexible in how she works. For example, we wanted to have our images printed in the UK instead of Singapore so she created a package that enabled us to purchase the files for printing. We know she has created bespoke photoshoot packages for others too.”
