#3 Mamonde skincare launches in Singapore
A heads-up for fans of Korean skincare and makeup: floral-inspired beauty brand Mamonde has landed our shores. Launched in South Korea in 1991, Mamonde is known for using flower extracts – such as hibiscus, camellia and magnolia – in its line of skincare products. Our favourite of the lot? The rosewater toner ($38), formulated with more than 90 percent Bulgarian damask rosewater for hydration – it smells absolutely divine! The full range is available online at Lazada.
#4 Smashbox makeup launches at Sephora
Cult-favourite brand Smashbox has launched its Cover Shot eye palettes ($52 each) in Sephora ION and on the Sephora site. Look forward to seven stunning palettes, each with a curated mix of six shadows and two double-sized base shades. We’re totes eyeing the Ablaze palette, which features desert-inspired, warm tones.
#5 Laneige’s new White Dew Line and Silk Intense Lipstick
Fight pigmentation and dark spots with the newly launched White Dew line. The range combines Mela-vita Crusher for blocking melanin, and Phyto Sugar Water, which brightens the skin. On our lust list is the Original Ampoule Essence ($80), a hypoallergenic formula infused with Vitamin C for skin clarity and Panthenol to soothe the skin.
Look out for the reformulated Silk Intense Lipstick ($36), available in – wait for it – 35 shades! Apart from the luxurious silky-soft formula, we’re also stoked about the two new colour-correcting shades: Exotic Yellow and Forest Fantasy.
#6 MAC Cosmetics launches new lip scrub and mascara
Pucker up, people: MAC’s new Lip Scrubtious ($29) has hit town! This sugar-based exfoliator gently buffs away dry and flaky skin, while hydrating and nourishing the lips. Oh, and did we mention that all the flavours sound amazing? Candied Nectar and Sweet Brown Sugar are definitely on our radar.
Go bold or go home; amp up your makeup look by sweeping on a bright mascara, because why not? As part of the brand’s Spring ’17 Work it Out collection, the Extreme Dimension Lash mascara ($32) is available in 16 shades, from Squat It, a sugar rich cool brown, to Abs of Steel, a daring fuchsia pink.
#7 H&M carries new limited edition Face Collection
Look out for the limited edition Face Collection, which revolves around creating a flawless yet natural base. Start off with the Colour Corrector Quad ($19.90), then add coverage with the lightweight Fluid Veil Cushion Foundation ($24.90). Slay your glow game with the Whipped Highlighter ($14.90), and top it off with the Strobing Palette ($24.90) for an added bam.
