Wine Tasting just in time for Christmas!
The season of feasting and drinking is almost here! Whether you’re searching for a Christmas present for a wine lover or you’re planning a holiday party, Italian wine online retailer Bacco Wines’ upcoming event is the perfect chance for picking up a bottle or two. Held four times a year, the Boutique Italian Wine Fair’s next instalment is Saturday, 24 November, from 2pm to 6pm. This wine-tasting event lets you sample some of the best boutique wine labels across Italy. (And read on for details of a special deal for Expat Living readers…)
What to expect
The four hour-long vino bonanza will feature over 20 highly-awarded labels from all over the Italian peninsula, including rare and unique wines from small, boutique wineries. And yes, you’ll get to try them all! In case you need something to pad your stomach in between the copious imbibing, there’ll be plenty of nibbles available, including delicious brownies from Lucia Cakes and sourdough bread from Urban Loaf Factory.
Psst… We’ve got the inside scoop that one of the winemakers from the extensive Bacco portfolio of small-production family estates will be present on that day. Wine enthusiasts, don’t miss this opportunity to find out more about the process and passion behind organic vino!
What happened previously
In September, Bacco Wines’ eighth wine fair revolved around the theme of movies. Various wines were grouped into different categories, from famous international grapes to local Italian vines. There was also a selection of more unusual and unknown wines tied under movie themes like The Italian Job and The Incredibles.
