Back in the day, everyone wanted to be a DJ. But in the 90s and noughties, you needed to spend hefty amounts of cash on high end bits of kit in order to make ti happen. The costs were prohibitive.
But now, it’s all change. Pacemaker, the Swedish company that released the first portable DJ device, has joined forces with Spotify to launch Pacemaker for iPad. With this app, mixing music is as easy as adding a filter to a photo. It is free, responsive and you can mix tracks from both iTunes and Spotify.
The design is stripped back, giving a feel that is natural, fun and one that fits the iPad perfectly. And with Pacemaker’s exclusive connection to Spotify, the barrier to effortlessly explore and mix new music is removed and the creative possibilities are endless.
“Our vision has always been to make it possible for anyone to have fun with music. With the design of Pacemaker for iPad and its integration of Spotify, I think we’re on the right track,” said Jonas Norberg Co-founder & CEO, Pacemaker.
‘We’ve always wanted to enable mixing with Spotify so it’s been exciting to work with Pacemaker on this. The launch of their app means anyone, regardless of skill, can start mixing millions of tracks on Spotify right away.’, said Owen Smith, Product Owner, Spotify.
Pacemaker for iPad can be downloaded for free through the App Store.
