Art galleries in Singapore: Exhibitions and shows in November

Pop-up Art (Until 31 December)
This $1 billion pop-up exhibition by the Singapore Pinacothèque de Paris is your chance to get close to 19 incredible works by masters such as Botticelli, Monet, Modigliani, Rembrandt, Picasso, Pollock, Van Dyck and Warhol. Most of them are usually kept behind closed doors, but now they’re on loan from private collections and being seen in Asia for the first time. Fort Canning Centre. Affordable Art Fair (21– 24 November)
Returning for a fourth year, the Affordable Art Fair Singapore brings together a diverse selection of contemporary artworks from more than 95 galleries around the world. True to the Affordable Art Fair philosophy, the artworks are priced between $100 and  $10,000 and stretch across a variety of media including painting, sculpture and photography. There’ll be art talks, a children’s art studio, gourmet food and lots more. F1 Pit Building (1 Republic Boulevard). General admission $15; free for under-16s. Singapore Biennale (26 October 2013 – 16 February 2014)
Featuring 82 established and emerging contemporary artists from Southeast Asia whose works reconsider the world we live in, and the world we want to live in. Twenty-seven curators have come together for this mega-exhibition with an optimistic theme: “If the World Changed”. Find the Biennale in museums and venues throughout the Bras Basah and Bugis precinct. Adults pay $10 for one entry; outdoor venues are free. 10am to 7pm daily. sinagporebiennale.org

11.12 Gallery (1 – 9 November)
The intricate, urbane style of Russian artists Lilia Balasanova and Sergei Kolevatykh in an exhibition titled “Financial Capitals” draws viewers in for closer inspection. 11.12 Art Gallery, 36 Armenian Street, #04-02. REDSEA Gallery (7 – 21 November)
